Concession cards
The Queensland Government offers a number of concession cards to Queenslanders. This includes Seniors Cards, Carer Business Discount Cards, Companions Cards and Australian Government Concession and Health Care Cards.

Electoral enrolment
It’s compulsory to enrol and vote in council, state and federal government elections if you:
- Are an Australian citizen
- Are aged 18 years or over
- Have lived at your address for at least one month
If you are 16 or 17, you can provisionally enrol. This means you can vote as soon as you turn 18.

Justice of the Peace and Commissioner for Declarations
Applications for admission as a Justice of the Peace or Commissioner of Declarations require a nomination by myself as your state Member of Parliament. Forms are available either online, or hard copies can be collected from my office.
When your application is complete you will receive a notification from the Attorney-General’s Office.

School tours of Parliament House
The Queensland Parliament offers school tours for primary and secondary class groups throughout Queensland.
These tours, operated by Parliamentary attendants, are conducted Monday to Friday between 9.30am and 2.30pm. The tours start at the Parliamentary Annexe and take approximately 90 minutes.
