About Cameron Dick

Cameron Dick is the Deputy Leader of the Queensland Opposition and Shadow Minister for State Development, Infrastructure, Planning and Regional Development, and has represented the state electorate of Woodridge in the Queensland Parliament since 2015.

 

Along with his colleagues in the State Opposition, Cameron is responsible for holding the Crisafulli Government to account. Cameron and will fight to ensure that Queenslanders in the electorate of Woodridge and across the state get their fair share from the Queensland Government.

 

Cameron has previously served Queensland as the Deputy Premier, Treasurer, Minister for Trade and Investment, Queensland’s Attorney-General, Minister for Infrastructure and Planning, Minister for State Development, Minister for Manufacturing, Minister for Health and Ambulance Services, Minister for Education, Minister for Tourism and Sport, and Minister for Industrial Relations.

 

As Deputy Premier and Treasurer in the Miles Government, Cameron was able to deliver the biggest cost of living relief package in the nation.

 

This package included $1000 off electricity bills, 50 cent public transport fares, 20 per cent off rego, $200 kids sport vouchers, free Kindy, free TAFE courses and apprenticeships, $1,000 cash back for apprentices in the housing trades, and making the flu and RSV vaccine free.

 

These measures were only made possible by Cameron and the Miles Government making mining companies pay their fair share.

 

Cameron is proud to live with his wife and sons in the City of Logan where he enjoys supporting local community groups, particularly multicultural associations and groups and sporting clubs.
